2023 marks the tenth year since the establishment of KAPSOM. A decade signifies a trajectory of growth, a long and winding journey, and a process of reflection, sedimentation, and innovative exploration. Over the past ten years, KAPSOM has left its mark with perseverance, exploration, and steady development, carrying the expectations of embarking on a new journey and flourishing development, and serving as the cornerstone of KAPSOM’s continuous progress and pursuit of excellence. To celebrate KAPSOM’s tenth anniversary, the grand celebration themed “Continuing the ‘Kai’ spirit, gathering brilliance together” was held on August 11, 2023, at the Wyndham Hotel by Wolong Lake in Nanjing.
Speech by Kevin Yuan , Founder of KAPSOM
The celebration commenced with the screening of the documentary “Light in the Eyes, Dreams in the Heart: A Decade of KAPSOM’s Journey.” From a small room of less than 50 square meters, with only three or four people comprising KAPSOM, to today being able to compete with industry leaders in the international green ammonia market, every KAPSOM member deeply feels the hardships and challenges along the way. Looking back, we see the difficulties of entrepreneurship, the challenges of survival, but more importantly, the gratitude towards KAPSOM’s clients who have always believed in us, the suppliers who have supported us along the way, and every frontline worker who has always adhered to the principle of “Customers first, company second, individual third.”
Kevin Yuan, founder of KAPSOM, delivered a speech at the celebration. The past decade has been a period of arduous struggle and steady development, a time of tempering will and growing strong, and a decade of unwavering commitment and constant optimism. Yuan Mukang shared the journey of KAPSOM’s entrepreneurship over the past ten years, expressing gratitude to all the partners who have accompanied us through thick and thin. In the next decade of development, a decade of soaring, the company will face more opportunities and challenges. We hope and firmly believe that every KAPSOM member will be resilient, fearless, and able to overcome challenges.

In the ten-year construction and development journey of the company, KAPSOM has progressed from obscurity to the forefront, from a trading company to an engineering company, creating remarkable achievements that have attracted attention from the industry: being the first to bring calcium chloride units to the international market, designing and supplying the world’s first set of green ammonia units, designing and supplying the world’s first large-scale commercial green methanol unit… Behind these successes are outstanding employees who have always stood behind the company, tirelessly dedicating themselves. They have always regarded the company’s achievements as their highest goal and selflessly sacrificed personal interests for the company’s benefit. On this important day of the company’s tenth anniversary, we commend these outstanding KAPSOM members and thank them for their hard work and dedication during KAPSOM’s ten years of development.

The cake-cutting ceremony and celebratory dinner mark the perfect conclusion of this grand event. Ten years of forging a sword, the second decade is already on the way. We need not only the strong courage of “bearing fruit after ten years, embarking on a new journey; forging ahead with dreams, creating brilliance again,” but also the optimistic mindset of “having light in our eyes, dreams in our hearts, and an unchanged original intention,” and more importantly, the firm determination of “innovation leading, unity and cooperation, and daring to achieve new heights.”
With clear goals and lofty aspirations, like a swan soaring high and a white horse galloping freely, we will cherish today’s hard-won achievements even more. With a more vigorous spirit and enthusiasm, we will repay all sectors with persistent efforts and earnest expectations!
